Whether you need individual layout designs created for every page of your site or you're just looking for a customized template design that you can plug all of your content into, Don Schaefer can help. Once a project is finished, clients will receive copies of all related source files (including photoshop files, graphic design files, and any stock photography that was used).

Custom Website Template Designs

Custom website template designs provided by Don Schaefer are basically a one-size-fits-all solution for all of the content that you want to put into your website. After consulting with you, Don will put together a custom design based on your needs and preferences that allows enough room for any and all website content to be plugged into the middle of the site. While header and footer information (such as logos, navigational menus, copyright notices, etc.) will remain in the same place on all pages to provide consistency & reduced download times, body content (such as text, images, forms and other media) will be arranged in the middle of the page and the page will stretch to compensate as needed for pages with large amounts of content. Custom website templates provide a perfect balance for those who want a customized looking website, but don’t need to invest the extra time involved in hand-crafting each page of their site individually.

Individual Web Page Designs

If you really want your site to have an extra level of polish to it, individual web page designs are something to consider. While some elements, such as the site's navigation and footer elements (links to legal disclaimers, etc.) may remain in the same location, the rest of the page layout is customized specifically for the needs of the page being built. This can be done on a small scale (such as the way the homepage of this site is laid out differently than the portfolio pages or on a larger scale where each and every page practically becomes its own unique experience. This is most commonly done on homepages and splash pages, but can be appropriate wherever the subject matter of a page has unique needs that justify spending some time on design alterations.

Flash Animations

While not supported by iPhones or iPads, Flash Animations remain a popular method of adding visual flare to a site. From animations that serve aesthetic purposes like photo slideshows that cycle through images on a homepage or at the top of a site, to more practical animations that serve to demonstrate how a product works, Flash is a powerful tool that can bring a lot to the table when it's used well. Template Design Modifications

Perhaps you've already set up a template website through Wordpress or another provider & simply are looking for a way to make it look a little less bland... don't worry, I can usually help with this too depending on the template/service being used. While I may not be able to do much, I'll be happy to take a look at it for you if you provide me with the appropriate login credentials. After I get a chance to look over the system being used, I'll let you know what can be done and what can't, then work with you to move forward from there.
